Proposal to the UTMV Community to Revitalize the Fandom: On February 12, 2016, Muffet's Love Ball RP was hosted. This was a huge step for the UTMV Community. In modern times, the amount of UTMV content has started to slow down. I believe that if we do a similar event, we can create a surge in the UTMV community and bring back a lot of activity. That's why I'm proposing that we create another Love Ball-type roleplay event on February 12, 2026, the 10th anniversary of Love Ball. I don't have any of the specifics thought out or planned, but I'm willing to put in the effort to create such an experience if y'all are willing to help out and participate in it. The name is subject to change, but I'll call it "The Violet Banquet" for now. and then they go out and get ice cream. sometimes the murderers need to take a break from murdering and just do NORMAL crime yk???

Proposal to the UTMV Community to Revitalize the Fandom:

On February 12, 2016, Muffet's Love Ball RP was hosted. This was a huge step for the UTMV Community.

In modern times, the amount of UTMV content has started to slow down. I believe that if we do a similar event, we can create a surge in the UTMV community and bring back a lot of activity.

We have organized "The Violet Banquet," a spiritual successor to Muffet's Love Ball that aims to revitalize the server.

The First Violet Banquet will be held on the 9th anniversary of Love-Ball from February 12, 2025 (12AM EST) to February 16, 2025 (11:59 PM). We will then host another Violet Banquet, learning from our previous run, on the 10th anniversary (February 12, 2026), pulling all the stops to create a truly sans-ational event.

Please, follow the official tumblr, join the Discord server, and spread the word about the event! We need all the help we can get!

Our Discord Server is already active and we already have people rping, though not in the main event as of yet. In addition, we will be hosting various events and art contests, and some winners may be featured during the event.

Dreamtale Harmony ft. Psyche

On Dec. 11, in the Violet Banquet server, @tv-channel-x came up with a guardian of neutrality and thought called Dawn. Using what was left of the mother tree, he was made in the image of a Papyrus to match and grew up separately after the tragedy. Possibly under Quetzalcoatl's care if it's canon that Dream underwent an apprenticeship with Lanny, the guardian of the tree of magic.

When he finally did meet his older brothers, it was discovered by accident that Dawn's own aura caused Dream's and Nightmare's to harmonize with each other... to the point of fusing the twins together.

The reformed guardian of emotion never anticipated a family reunion like this. Now that the thousand apples are all together again and they have equal power over posivitity and negativity, they don't know what to do. They don't even know who they are anymore. Dream and Nightmare's personalities are still competing against each other, making them disoriented and manic... but feeling strangely more complete in this state. So they will eventually learn how to coexist and settle into this new identity as they stabilize.

This art piece represents multiple phases at once. When Psyche first takes shape, they have four tendrils. Their whole body might also be intermittently drenched, the mixed saps looking like lava together. But when they do harmonize internally, the sap on the top pair will melt off to reveal the bony branches shaped like wings that grow apple leaves like feathers.

They now are the tree of emotion.

The design is intended to borrow elements from both canon Dreamtale and multiple alternate Dreamtales to consider the possibilities that either the same design could be used for the fusion of any two twins, or that Psyche could be a convergence of them all.

Okay I'm looking trough all those screenshots and I'm sorry but.

They make you look like a huge asshole? I'm not sure if the ones in th reblogs are snippets of the conversation that were specifically picked out to make you look bad but I have to be honest. I'm not really seeing anything that falls in line with what you are saying? From what I can see from the screenshots you seem to have been kicked because you wanted to allow content that the rest of the mod team was against(and if what those people are saying is correct then for good reason.) And instead of accepting that the clear majority of the team had decided against it you proceeded to keep arguing?

Also those images of 'I'm a minor and neurodivergent' really don't help you look like the better side here. It honestly just makes it seems like you don't have any valid arguments. I don't see any harassment at all in these screenshots. Maybe at most some messages that were worded rather rudely but compared to how you were writing your messages it just seems like that is because it was a full-blown argument and emotions were high.

I just really cannot see any reason to believe you were in the right here?

Hopefully you’ve heard about the Violet-Banquet, but if not, it’s an event, that’s going to be over discord like te Love Ball from a few years prior. It’s gonna be a really fun time for anyone who wants to join and roleplay, or if anyone just wants to join for the fun of it.

I came up with the idea for the Violet Banquet like yesterday and already I've gotten a lot of activity.

I think the Violet Banquet will be happening. But I need your help, because there's no way I can organize this on my own.

Last night I set up a Discord Server for the Violet Banquet. Since the current plan is to do this event on a Discord Server, the actual server I have is kinda lackluster. When I say lackluster I mean that as of the time of writing, I don't even have a reaction-roles set up yet.

If anyone would be willing to help set this up, I would be so, so glad.

Sorry, I shoulda been more clear. It would be an RP Event, so you as the creator would be rp-ing as your own character. If you've heard of Muffet's Love-Ball from 2016, it would be something similar to that.

Woah, that's an interesting question...A UTMV Event? Like the X-Event for example? If I was given the opportunity, I would be honored to do so.

If I had the chance to put my character In an event, it would give an opportunity for my creations to be noticed and get more attention than I do now as Splash Sans is not yet a very recognized Sans AU in the community since I've only just recently revealed Splash Sans on Tumblr. Bringing my Sans AU into a UTMV event would probably be one of my best accomplishments on Tumblr if this was to become true.

...If you ask Splash Sans about this, he'll immediately say YES! Lol 🤣

Announcement about the Violet Banquet

I was not expecting to make another post so soon, but the need for it arises.

Recently, the mod "SpaceCheese" has been banned from the server due to a disagreement on pro shipping in a server with minors. Their stance on the matter simply was not acceptable, and the way they handled their argument by blocking the other parties was also not acceptable.

As a mod and event organizer, they had a duty to enforce proper rules regarding rp and proshipping. By choosing to stand against this, they have been banned.

In addition, later on, when we voted to kick them out, they decided to make a tumblr post without blurring our names or having any tact.

all in all, SpaceCheese has been banned for several reasons.

The Violet Banquet - A UTMV RP Event is Definitely Happening!

Not even a full 24 hours ago, I had doubts that this thing would ever gain traction. I had just heard of loveball and the impact it had on the utmv community, and i just wanted to create a similar event to revitalize the community once more.

Now, the discord server is up and running. RP Rules are still being made, but the actual server is operational with 58 members and rising in the first day alone!

I have high hopes for this event, but we still need your support to make this event the revitalization of the community it ought to be.
